No force lives up to its name more than Next Wave, for whether or not it represents the future, it is entirely unlike any other army in the Sphere. Integrated into the Combined Army, and like all its constituent forces, capable and eager to act independently, Next Wave is comprised of veterans of the Paradiso wars, criminals and resistance fighters from the occupation era, and humans with alien enhancements. It is precisely these technological contributions from other civilizations within the Ur Hegemony that give Next Wave its unique character, making it as fearsome and effective as it may appear to us.
